Along with private investors and the ACT Government, you are offered the chance to be part of the team driving for an A-League team in Canberra.

Obviously we need investors support, but there is no game without the fans.

What are the perks?

As a Foundation Member you will be entitled to future benefits once the bid is successful. These include:

• recognition on the official A-League4Canberra site (if you choose) 
• reduced season tickets 
• free entry into all ACT Premier league games for the next 5 years 
• free entry to the newly established women's W-League Canberra team, Canberra United for the next 5 years 
• membership certificate identifying you as a foundation member 
• exclusive 'Black Card' membership to John Hanna Menswear entitling bearer to 15% off all merchandise 
• a say in the club at Board level

What does it cost?

For just $200 you will get the chance to be part of the foundation team.

All money contributed by Foundation Members will be held in a Trust account (at SERVICE ONE Members Banking). If unsuccessful, all money contributed by Foundation Members will be refunded in full.

All you have to do is sign up and pay $200 either online or at any one of 15 SERVICE ONE Members Banking branches or by downloading the payment form by mid-August.

Benefits

1. A Team.

As part of the bid process, the bid committee need to demonstrate that there is real community support for a team. Becoming a member is directly contributing to the success of the bid.

2. Become a part of History.

If the bid is successful, you will be forever recognised as a Foundation Member. There are only 5000 memberships available. Once the bid is successful or the 5000 limit is reached the foundation membership program will be closed and there will be no further opportunity to become a foundation member.

3. Recognition by the Club.

Once a team is created, the Foundation Members will be recognised by the club as the people that helped create them. Recognition will be provided via a membership certificate, a listing on the club website and with other benefits such as discounted season passes and other perks. A season ticket holder will not be regarded at the same level as a Foundation Member as they were not involved from the beginning.

4. A Voice on the Board.

The proposed corporate structure for the club includes a Foundation Membership board representative.

5. Discounted Season Tickets

Once the club is established, all foundation members will received a discount on season passes. While the prices for these haven’t yet been developed the discount would be something like $50 off a $250 season pass. After 4 years you could have your money back and a successful team to support!

6. Free entry to W-League and Premier League matches in the ACT.

Capital Football has offered free entry to all W-League home games for the next 5 years. You will also get free entry to any Premier League matches for the next 5 years.
